Kevin Krause Joins SEKO Logistics as VP, Ocean Services
Kevin Krause has joined SEKO Logistics as Vice President, Ocean Services, based at the company’s global headquarters in Chicago.
Prior to joining SEKO, Kevin spent over two years with C.H. Robinson as Ocean Service Line Manager – Corporate Carrier Management.
Rick Lee, SEKO Logistics’ COO, said: “Kevin has over 20 years of experience in Ocean Services, including pricing, rate negotiation, contract administration, carrier management, and business development. At SEKO, his focus will be on procurement, product development and sales of our Ocean product offering. He will also serve as SEKO’s Qualifying Individual (QI) holding the company’s Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) license. As customers look for a new level of services and support from NVOs like SEKO in 2017, Kevin is a welcome addition to our executive team.”
Kevin began his career with Hapag-Lloyd in Chicago in 1993 before moving to join Hamburg Süd four years later, working in both Chicago and at its New Jersey headquarters. In 2004, he joined UPS Supply Chain Services as Manager Ocean Pricing and went on to spend five years with AIT Worldwide Logistics as Director, Ocean Services and Customs House Brokerage. During his career he has also held the posts of Vice President of Pricing and Supplier Management at Jacobson Global Logistics, and National Ocean Development Manager at NNR, based in Illinois. Prior to joining C.H. Robinson in 2014, Kevin was a partner in the K2 Maritime Group.
“SEKO’s dynamic suite of transportation services, technology and visibility product offerings provide a multi-faceted menu that can be tailored to all clients seeking efficient and value-minded logistics solutions. SEKO encourages integrity and value for customers in the increasingly competitive supply chain solutions market. The scalability of SEKO as a logistics service provider is appealing to customers large and small,” he said.
