SEKO Ranked Top Freight Forwarder in ‘Quest For Quality’ Awards

SEKO Logistics has been recognized as the highest ranking freight forwarder for customer service for the second year in a row in the prestigious Quest for Quality Awards determined by over 4,500 logistics, transportation and supply chain decision-maker readers of Logistics Management magazine.

Now in their 32nd year, the awards are the culmination of six months of research conducted by Peerless Research Group to identify the gold standard for customer satisfaction and performance excellence of logistics providers, carriers and ports worldwide.

William J. Wascher, Chief Executive Officer at SEKO Logistics, said: “This is a great honor for the SEKO team because it reflects the importance customers place on the quality of customer service, which is where we stand out from the crowd among our much bigger competitors. To determine the best of the best, participants in the research are asked to rate companies strictly on the basis of service quality. One of the most notable elements about the Quest for Quality awards is that they allow shippers to vote in the genre of services they actually use and fully understand. In 2015, 4,649 decision-makers cast votes to choose the winners.

What makes the Quest for Quality Awards stand out in the market is the fact that the winners are determined by the readers of Logistics Management - the buyers of logistics and transportation services who put these carriers and service providers to work around the clock and around the globe. The growth of e-commerce and the subsequent evolution of omni-channel fulfillment have changed the game for both retailers and manufacturers, shortening lead times across the board. According to the readers of Logistics Management, the list of carriers and service providers receiving a Quest for Quality Award this year have been equal to the task, matching their ever-demanding service needs and helping them keep pace with the new speed of global business," said Michael Levans, Group Editorial Director of Peerless Media, the publisher of Logistics Management.
